1,) The first goal that I want to achieve this year is earning my driver’s license. This goal is important because it will increase my independence and allow me to manage my responsibilities more efficiently. To accomplish this goal, I will study the driver’s manual for at least 30 minutes three times a week, complete my required driving hours by the end of the summer, and practice driving with a licensed adult every weekend. By October 2026, I plan to pass both the written and driving tests and officially receive my driver’s license.
2,) The 2nd goal I want to achieve this year is making A's & B's all semester. This goal is important because it will help me put up a challenge for myself. To accomplish this goal, I will study for at-least an hour 4 times a week, complete my required work study hours by the end on the school year
3.) The 3rd goal I want to achieve this year is successfully graduate high school with all required credits. This goal is important because graduating on time is the foundation for everything after high school college, trade school, military, or work. Without a diploma, many opportunities are limited, so this goal directly affects my future. To accomplish this goal, I will attend school consistently, turn in all assignments on time, ask teachers for help when I don’t understand material, and use tutoring or after-school support if my grades drop. I will also track my credits with my counselor to make sure I stay on schedule.
4.) The 4th goal I want to achieve this year is by the end of my senior year, I will have a confirmed plan after graduation, such as being accepted into a college/trade program or securing a job. Having a plan prevents uncertainty after graduation and helps me move forward with purpose. It ensures I don’t waste time and puts me on a path toward financial independence and long-term success. I will research career interests, update my resume, apply to jobs, colleges, or training programs, attend interviews, and ask counselors, teachers, or mentors for recommendations. I will also prepare for required tests or applications.
