Tariffs are often designed to encourage people to buy American-made products. When you shop, do you check where products come from? Would you be willing to pay more for something made in the U.S.? Why or why not? No, I don’t check where products come from. I wouldn’t pay more for U.S made products. I care more about getting a good deal.

Prompt: Choose a word from Vocabulary Lesson 12 . In at least one paragraph, define the word in your own words and explain where you encountered it. Describe how understanding this word helps improve your communication or writing skills. Macroscopic means something large enough to see without a microscope. I first saw this word in a nature documentary. It helps me describe size more clearly. For example, I can say a tree is macroscopic instead of just big.
